Differences Between the 4100IS and 5100IS

Both the 4100IS and 5100IS have a 2.2L capacity and efficient performance settings. However, the 5100IS offers additional features such as a pressure gauge, enhanced steam options, and easy attachment for the 2100IR iron. On the other hand, the 4100IS is a simpler model without a pressure gauge or steam variability, and it is directly connected to the unit.

Using the 4100IS Without a Pressure Gauge

The 4100IS unit indicates full readiness with a 'Steam Ready' indicator light. This ensures that you know when it has reached optimal performance level even without a pressure gauge.

How to Empty the Water

To empty the water, simply turn the boiler off and unplug it. If the boiler is under pressure, please follow the instructions to remove the pressure safety cap and tip the unit upside down to drain it.

Efficient Performance Mode

The Efficient Performance Mode in the 5100IS maintains a steady performance level of 2 bars (29 PSI), conserving energy. To activate this mode, simply switch it to 'ON' when you're ready to use it. It will reach full performance quickly. Note: This mode is not intended for dry ironing; it is designed to maintain a steady readiness for steam ironing.
